WANPIPE BACKUP SYSTEM

Introduction:
------------
	
WANPIPE Backup Daemon utility is used to monitor the Primary (HIGH speed)
connection.  If the Primary connection goes down for any reason, the 
wpbackupd will establish a secondary (LOW speed) connection.  

At the same time the primary link will continue to be monitored 
by wpbackupd for the signs of life. Once the primary link comes up
the secondary connection will be terminated and the primary will be 
re-established.


Installation:
-------------

1. Make sure the latest WANPIPE release has been installed.

2. Copy the wpbackupd tar ball into a temporary directory
    (eg: /tmp).

   eg: cp wpbackupd_1.2.tgz /tmp

3. Untar the wpbackupd

   eg: tar xvfz wpbackupd_1.2.tgz

	(backupd/ directory will be created)

4. Read the README file in backupd/ directory.
