Changes: Firmware bug fix for PCI/PCI-Express Cards This bug can shut down the driver. Release V25 ------------ Mar 16 2007 Tyep Mandatory for PCI-Express Cards This update attempts to further fix the issue related in V24. On some systems the symtoms in V24 were still prevalent. V25 fixes those issues. Release V24 ------------- Nov 03 2006 Type Mandatory for PCI-Express Cards A serious bug exists in A104d Firmware for PCI-E cards. On each front end access the next pci transaction can become corrupted, and if the next pci transaction is dma transaction, then an invalid memory can be written to. Changes: Firmware bug fix for PCI-E cards. This bug can cause hard crashes. Note: This bug only affects DATA operation of A104d PCI Express Card. The TDM Voice operation is not affected. Release V23 ------------- Sep 27 2006 Type: Optional (Feature) Changes: This firmware release contains new feature: - Global TDM Voice Interrupt: It that combines all spans on a single interrupt. This significantly reduces cpu load. This option is only used in TDM Voice Mode. Symptoms: New Feature. WARNING: The new feature only works with the driver release beta8-2.3.4 and higher. Do not install this firmware if you are running OLDER wanpipe release. If you install this firmware on older wanpipe release TDM VOICE driver will NOT work. Release V22 ----------- Sep 27 2006 Type: Optional (Feature) Changes: This firmware release contains new feature: - E1 Unframed Option to run E1 portin Unframed mode (all 32 channels) This option is only used in WAN/IP mode. WARNING: The new feature only works with the driver release beta8-2.3.4 and higher. If you install this firware with OLDER wanpipe release ONLY E1 Unframed feature will not work, rest of the features will work fine. Release V21 ----------- Jul 17 2006 Type: Recomended Changes: This release fixes an issue with some boards where the echo canceller would not load properly. If your echo canceller currently loads properly, you do not need to upgrade to this firmware. Symptoms: Echo canceller fails on chip open (err=103xxxx), cannot load echo canceller. Release V18 ----------- Feb 06 2005 Type: Recomended Changes: This release fixes a possible bug when A104D card is used with new Octasic Echo Chip that has lower than 256 echo channels. Bug is machine based and only occurs on some pci buses when hardware echo cancellation is being used. Symptoms: Non funcioning Echo Canceler. Release V17 ----------- Jan 23 2005 Type: Mandatory/Critical Changes: This release fixes a critical bug in A104D hw. Bug is machine based and only occurs on some pci buses when hardware echo cancellation is being used. Symptoms: Noise and clicking sounds on hardware echo canceled channels.
