Bug Fixes:
Defect # |
Dialogic® Media Gateway Model |
Description |
IPY00074252 |
All |
A space is appended to the end of the common name of a certificate was
causing calls to fail when TLS is enabled. |
IPY00043905 |
DMG1008RLMDNI |
The ADEPT parser in the Gateway is not properly interpreting the rules
that include a single literal character. |
IPY00043403 |
All |
The Gateway rejects MWI requests that use string "Yes" instead of 'yes'
in a NOTIFY message. |
IPY00043904 |
DMG100xLS |
The Gateway incorrectly disconnects a VoIP-to-TDM call when the far end
answers the call if the Gateway is connected to a NT1+ device. |
IPY00043960 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
The Gateway delays starting media after an unsupervised transfer is
performed to a TDM destination on a VoIP-to-TDM call when the Gateway is
connected to an ISDN protocol. |
IPY00043906 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
When the Gateway is connected to a Nortel Option 61c / 11c PBX and is
configured to use the DMS100 protocol, the user will not be able to make
or receive calls due to packet decoding on the D-Channel. |
IPY00043967 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
No called party is available from IP to TDM when “SIP” is used in the
From header because the gateway was case sensitive and did not recognize
capitalized “SIP”. |
IPY00043909 |
All |
The Gateway requires a reboot if the user removes the MWI FAC setting.
The reboot is required even though the Gateway does not inform the user
to reboot. |
IPY00043976 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
Under a heavy load of MWI traffic from IP to TDM, the PBX stops
processing MWI requests from the Gateway when connected to a DMS100 PBX
running ISDN NI-2 and cannot process simultaneous messages requests. |
IPY00043959 |
DMG100xLS |
FSK data is not being completely recognized because TCID type 3 is not
supported. |
IPY00043910 |
All |
The Gateway experiences degradation in performance if the Gateway is
requested to send many SIP messages over TCP to an IP endpoint (e.g.
VoIP endpoint) that does not exist.
|
IPY00043919 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
The Gateway gets into a state where it will continually retry failed
VoIP-to-TDM routes if the initial route fails due to a Redirect request
from the TDM network. |
IPY00043918 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
VoIP-to-TDM calls fail if the TDM network sends the Gateway a Redirect
and the VoIP Host Address in the Routing Table is not '*'. |
IPY00043992 |
DMG100xLS |
IP to TDM calls are connecting before the TDM call is actually answered. |
IPY00044244 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
"No Channels Available" alarm is generated when the consultation call is
created on a different span than the original span because the first
span has no channels available and there are channels available on a
different span. |
IPY00044360 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
The Gateways generates a red alarm on ISDN during the midnight routine
on a Nortel Meridian. |
IPY00044694 |
All |
Browse buttons overlap a cell in the table on the Certificate page in
Firefox. |
IPY00044407 |
All |
Hidden outbound fields are not visible in Firefox. |
IPY00044697 |
All |
On the router test page for VoIP Inbound, the VoIP endpoint and port
cannot be entered. |
IPY00044698 |
All |
In Firefox the Router and TDM test pages display “Requesting Data From
Gateway”. |
IPY00044411 |
All |
When VoIP Fault Tolerance is enabled the Gateway will not advance to the
next host group. Busy or Not Available are reported and no connection to
the next endpoint is attempted. |
IPY00044449 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
Boot sequence countdown is not displayed properly to the debug terminal. |
IPY00044370 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
T1 NI-2 A-LAW is not supported. |
IPY00044371 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
When an INVITE with Replaces is received the call handle is unknown. |
IPY00044479 |
All |
Contact header is not present in SIP 202 REFER response. |
IPY00044340 |
DMG2060DTIx
DMG2120DTIx |
Alarm is generated when a transfer is successfully completed across
spans. |
IPY00074216 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
Data abort exception is generated when redirecting name is manipulated
through the routing table and a call is made from VoIP to TDM. |
IPY00074213 |
All |
When a VoIP to TDM call receives a redirect request after the call
information is manipulated through the routing table, the call log is
incorrect for call manipulation on redirected TDM routing. |

Dialogic® Media Gateway Model |
Description |
FR2633 |
All |
The Gateway has been updated to support TDM-to-IP MWIs. Specifically,
the DMG1000/DMG2000 will notify the specified VoIP endpoint when the
gateway receives an indication from the TDM network that the VoIP
endpoints message waiting indicator has been updated (set or cleared). |
FR2838 |
All |
The Gateway has been updated to support the VoIP Failover and Load
Balancing within the Dial Plan. This allows users to create
Failover/Load Balancing rules on a per route basis. |
FR2911 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
The Gateway has been updated to allow users to configure the "Telephony
Port Interface Side" parameter (Network Side or Terminal Side) on a per
span basis for all T1/E1 ISDN protocols. |
FR3013 |
DMG2xxxDTIx |
The Gateway has been updated to support the ISDN Divert message and
reroute the VoIP-to-TDM call to the TDM destination identified by the
Divert message. |
FR3082 |
All |
The Gateway has been updated to include support for the 'ext' attribute
on VoIP-to-TDM calls. Specifically, When the Gateway receives a 'ext'
attribute as part of a VoIP-to-TDM call, the number contained in the
'ext' field becomes the number to dial. |

DMG2xxxDTI |
The Gateway may prematurely disconnect a VoIP-to-TDM call if the network
does not send a PROCEEDING or a SETUP_ACK in response to the Gateway
sending a SETUP message. |
IPY00042608 |
All |
The Gateway does not echo the entire Referred-By header received in the
REFER message during a transfer in the resulting Re-INVITE it generates. |
IPY00042341 |
All |
The Gateway may parse the timestamp header of a received SIP message
incorrectly resulting in the Gateway returning a 400 "Bad Request"
response. |
IPY00042224 |
All |
If the Gateway receives a SIP 302 message from the VoIP endpoint with
multiple targets included in the Contact header, the Gateway will not
send an INVITE to the subsequent targets in the list if the first fails. |
IPY00039679 |
DMG2xxxDTI |
The Gateway does not support diversion information or MWI requests when
connected to a E1 QSIG interface an Alcatel PBX that is configured for
the ECMA format as opposed to the ISO format. |
IPY00042202 |
DMG1008LS |
The Gateway does provide the correct Call Party Information when using
the Serial MCI link connected to a NEC PBX that is part of series of NEC
switches connected using Fusion link. |
IPY00042088 |
DMG2xxxDTI |
The Gateway does not pass the Redirecting Party when configured for the
E1 ETSI protocol. |
IPY00042607 |
All |
Over time, the Gateway may stop communicating over the SIP interface
after the Gateway receives Re-INVITE requests that are subsequently
cancelled. |
IPY00042827 |
DMG1008LS |
The Gateway allows the user to configure the unit to use the ETSI FSK
protocol for gathering Call Party Information even though this protocol
is not supported. |

|
Duplicate of IPY00043345. |
IPY00042529 |
DMG2xxxDTI |
On IP-to-TDM calls to a TDM phone that is busy, the Gateway responds
with a 503 "Service Unavailable" message instead of a 486 "Busy Here"
message when configured for an ISDN protocol |
IPY00038091 |
All |
The Gateway may not be able to reboot if serial data is received across
the serial integration port while the Gateway is rebooting. |
IPY00043898 |
All |
The Gateway does not fully support Early Media (CIR IPY00043203) |
IPY00043899 |
DMG2xxxDTI |
The Gateway fails a Consult Transfer if there are no free channels on
the span that the original call is on even if there are free channels on
other spans connected to the Gateway (CIR IPY00043008) |
IPY00043900 |
All |
The Gateway may stop sending audio if it receives a Re-INVITE followed
by an ACK where the SDP information is included in the ACK but not in
the Re-INVITE (CIR IPY00043477) |
IPY00043901 |
All |
The Gateway does not fully support Early Media (CIR IPY00042644) |
Compatibility Notes:
Title |
Description |
Microsoft OCS - Voice Detection on ISDN |
The Gateway may not send the SIP 200 OK response when the far end user
answers the call until the user speaks on TDM-to-IP calls when using an
ISDN protocol (e.g. QSIG, NI-2, etc.). |
Microsoft OCS - Early Media |
The Gateway is not compatible with the SIP Early Media feature as
implemented on the Microsoft Mediation Server. |
Norstar PBX DTMF |
Norstar switches do not render DTMF digital station to digital station.
This means that DTMF cannot be used to signal from a digital station to
a DMG1000 port connected to a Norstar switch. |
Avaya Legend PBX CPID |
Avaya Legend switches do not provide redirecting call-party information
when the call has been forwarded to a coverage-path to which the DMG1000
is a member. This means that DMG1000 will not be able to determine the
called-party for inbound PBX calls that have been forwarded to a
coverage-path. |
Dial-Digit Relay Notes |
There are 3 ways to achieve digit relay between the IP side and the TDM
side. They are via the VoIP signal protocol, RFC2833 tones in RTP, or
inband tones in RTP. |
Type II (Post-Answer) CPID |
TDM-to-VoIP calls: when VoIP endpoint answers, first few seconds of
audio may be clipped because audio is squelched during transmission of
Type II CPID from the switch. On switch side of the call, the caller
still receives ring-back tone while the switch is playing the Type II
CPID tones. |
